Characteristics:
Promagsan® tbl. is suitable for the prophylaxis of the results of magnesium deficiency in food.
Magnesium deficiency in a usual daily diet is rather frequent, though it is not manifested for a certain period of time by symptoms of the disease. Therefore a long term prophylactic use of Promagsan® tbl. as a nutrition supplement is significant. It applies especially to adolescents at the time of their body growth, elderly people whose daily diet is often one-sided and deficient in many ways, people carrying out hard physical or mental work, people in convalescence after disease or surgery, and women during pregnancy and puerperium. Use of Promagsan® tbl. can be an effective addition to the complex therapy of various diseases. The range of the use indications is wide and involves of convulsive conditions, heart and vessel diseases, high blood pressure, menstrual disorders in women, migrainous headaches, diabetes, nephrolithiasis, osteoporosis, chronic alcoholism, drug dependency, etc.
Dosage:
Usual daily dose for long-term prophylactic use of Promagsan® tbl. lasting several weeks or months is 1 - 2 tablets. The dose of Promagsan® tbl. in the case of evident or highly probable magnesium deficiency is 3x 1 to 3x 2 tablets daily.
